What is an Ages and Stages Questionnaire(ASQ)assessment tool?
Ages and Stages assessment tool is a developmental screening tool designed for use by early educators and health care professionals. It relies on parents as experts, is easy-to-use, family-friendly and creates the snapshot needed to catch delays and celebrate milestones.
Why Conduct an Ages and Stages Questionnaire?
Following the first few weeks of birth, your child is developing skills and coping strategies that will set the foundation for a lifelong path to success. When you welcome me into your home, I will provide you with the tools and knowledge to provide fun and stimulating activities which will foster a loving and healthy attachment between yourself and baby. After receiving hands-on training you will feel confident and prepared to utilize the Ages and Stages Questionaires (ASQ) and independently monitor your child's development and make sure they are on track.
